My last post was about Kayaking in Ba Be Lake, if you haven’t had a change to read it, you should check it out, it’s a beautiful place I love writing about. After leaving Ba Be Lake, we continued to travel on remote backroads toward the Quang Hoa and Ban Gioc waterfalls which are located in Trung Khanh district. On one side Quang Hoa’s is bordered by China. Despite its natural beauty and richness in culture, Quang Hoa is a rarely visited mountainous district of the Cao Bang province leaving it as an undiscovered beauty to discover. The Ban Gioc waterfalls; on the other hand, are very famous and a popular tourist destination on every Vietnam traveling map. It is the highest and the most powerful waterfall in Vietnam.

The fear of nuclear devastation in the 1950s finally led to the destruction of many towns in South Carolina. By the spring of 1952, Ellenton, Dunbarton, Meyers Mill, Hawthorne, Robbins, and Leigh were wiped off the map. In response to the growing tension surrounding the cold war, President Truman requested that Savannah River Plant be built. This article discusses the Savannah river site.
